BIM conference to return to Newcastle next year

The BIM Show Live conference is set to return to Newcastle in 2018.

The conference was relaunched in February 2017 and attracted 400 digital enthusiasts, including architects, engineers and construction professionals to the North East from all over the world for the innovation in technology led show.

Responsible for the show is BIM and digital construction consultancy Space Group which, after six years, has brought the event back to its roots where the idea was first born.

Rob Charlton, chief executive of Space Group, said: “After several successful years in London and Manchester, it was fantastic to bring the conference back to our home town this year and in such a great venue that we have a passionate connection with.

“BIM Show Live 2017 was a significant achievement and one we look forward to building on in 2018… Seminars were incredibly well attended and we were bowled over by the fantastic feedback from all the delegates, who praised both the venue and the city.

“The North East has become a centre of excellence for digital construction in the UK and with the success of BIM Show Live we aim to raise this profile even further.”
