Digital Construction Week has unveiled more than 170 educational sessions for this year’s show at London’s ExCel on 5-6 June.

The DCW speaker sessions include panel debates, presentations and workshops staged across nine theatres. The topics include:

  • asset management;
  • geospatial;
  • information management exchange;
  • information management;
  • innovation;
  • net zero;
  • people and change;
  • technology; and
  • transformation.

The speakers are drawn from across the built environment supply chain, with representatives from the likes of ALEC, BAM Nuttall, BDP, Chapman Taylor, Gleeds, Mace, Mott MacDonald Bentley, Neom, Sir Robert McAlpine, Skanska and the Tideway Tunnel project.

Those catching BIMplus’s eye on day one include: RLB Digital’s session entitled ‘Buying new software… but will it really help to solve my problems?’; Cowi’s session on attracting, developing and retaining digital talent; and recent BIMplus interviewee Thomas Flannery of McLaren Construction talking about compliant construction evidence.

On day two, BIMplus is drawn to Digital Construction Champion of the Year 2023 Su Butcher’s presentation on information management for insurers and the problem of disclosure in the supply chain; Sir Robert McAlpine’s Nick Leach on partnering with digital technology providers; and former Robert Bird Group director Paul Mullett’s intriguingly-titled talk, ‘Confessions of a digital leader’.
