Excitech, the UK technology and services provider for the construction sector, has launched a productivity toolkit for Autodesk AutoCAD.
The new toolkit for AutoCAD complements Excitech’s recently launched toolkits for Revit and Civil 3D to form a suite of complementary tools designed to enhance user experience, improve productivity and introduce new capabilities.
The toolkits are offered free to Excitech’s Autodesk subscription customers and feature tools from KobiLabs, the international CAD/BIM consulting and software development company, and a Lite version of Eagle Point Software’s e-learning platform, Pinnacle Series.
Carl Spalding, head of portfolio management at Excitech, said: “The new toolkit reinforces our commitment to improving our customers’ productivity. Users will enjoy access to functionality that will speed up cumbersome or time-consuming tasks.”
As well as Legend creation capability, Spalding said users “will benefit from tools that help with selection filtering, modifying spreadsheet properties, converting polylines, annotations and much more”.
He added: “Excitech toolkit for AutoCAD works seamlessly with our toolkit for Civil 3D, providing an enormous amount of depth and content that will prove invaluable to our customers.
