Excitech launches new set of productivity tools

Excitech, the UK construction software and technology consultant, is offering a productivity toolkit for Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D. It features productivity tools from KobiLabs, the international CAD/BIM consulting and software development company, and a “Lite” version of Eagle Point Software’s leading e-learning platform, Pinnacle Series (pictured).

Carl Spalding, head of portfolio management at Excitech, said: “The toolkit is a suite of tools designed to enhance the user’s experience, improve productivity and introduce new capability. Civil 3D users will find it helps with sections and alignments, grading and corridors, pipe editing and analysis.

“Revit users will benefit from tools that help with BIM management and content administration, view and sheet creation, annotation and model/data modification, plus links with Excel.”

Steve Biver, director of solution development at Eagle Point Software, said: “This Lite version of our Pinnacle Series platform is focused specifically on how to use the Excitech toolkit, with tutorials and tips on maximising the benefits they offer. We’re delighted to be working with Excitech on this offering; it’s a creative and intelligent use of the technology.”

Robert Gadbaw, US product manager at KobiLabs, said the agreement with Excitech will put customers in a unique position of being able to use more valuable functions within Autodesk software than they normally do: “These tools will open up new creative ideas and accelerate tasks, projects, and ultimately business growth.”
