Powered access supplier AFI has developed an integrated MEWP hire app that allows users to place a cherry picker hire order on a 24/7 basis.
New customers can register for an AFI account, browse machines available for hire, request quotes on selected machines, and quickly place a cherry picker hire order via the app.
Existing AFI customers can use their their current online login details to access the app and their AFI account 24/7.

Covid-19 has had the effect of accelerating the adoption of digital processes by our customers across all sectors. While out on site, you will be instantly connected to see what machines you have on hire, hire and off-hire machines, or watch familiarisation videos anytime of the day."
He continued: "It’s a real timesaver! The AFI app along with our existing online portal means that users can open an account and place an order in minutes as well as accept quotes. It offers customers the best digital experience."
The app is part of a wider digital transformation strategy to make it easy for customers in different sectors to do business with the AFI group of companies. It was originally designed before the pandemic for a growing number of customers working remotely from tablet and mobile devices.
The app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
