The Summit is the key annual event for built environment professionals seeking to understand the latest trends, learn best practice and uncover innovations from across the world.
Organised by the Chartered Institute of Building and Global Construction Review, the Summit, from 20-22 February, comprises a series of webinars, all of which feature high-quality speakers drawn from across the global built environment sector.
On 21 February, some of the UK’s leading construction businesses will explore how to embrace a more performance-driven approach to construction management in a panel discussion, in partnership with Buildots.
The discussion will focus on how advancements in technology and artificial intelligence can empower the industry to foster a culture of continuous improvement, constructive collaboration, and proactive management.
The panellists include:
- Andy Steele, strategic advisor and former chief executive of Osborne;
- Paul Drayton, head of digital – Europe, Laing O’Rourke; and
- Gareth Handley, director of operations, Wates Group
CPD credits
The Summit webinars are free to watch and broadcast live. Each webinar qualifies for an hour’s CPD credit for those who complete them live. Recordings are available to watch on demand shortly after the live broadcast.
Last year’s Summit attracted more than 1,500 construction professionals. The speakers were drawn from the likes of Aecom, Ferrovial Construction, the Get It Right Initiative, Gleeds, Hickok Cole, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the World Green Building Council.
