Planning and data management software updated

Planning and data management company dRofus AS has launched a new version of its construction-focused software package.

dRofus is a planning, data management and BIM collaboration tool that provides users with comprehensive workflow support and access to building information throughout the building’s lifecycle.

The company says dRofus 2.1 “will take integration to a new level with support for linking and synchronisation of an increased number of ArchiCAD objects, support for advanced workflows using hot-link modules (HLM), the introduction of the dRofus Panel and auto-sync within the Revit plugin”.

dRofus product owner, Ida Lau Borch, said: “With 2.1 we have made it much easier to work with ArchiCAD, Revit and dRofus at the same time.”

Integration with BIM authoring tools has been dRofus’s point of focus since 2006, with extensive support for designers using ArchiCAD and Revit as well as IFC.

Borch added: “2.0 was about an improved user experience and updating the user interface; 2.1 is building upon those efforts.”

Other new features include improvements to the graphical user interface, navigation, data input features and the interaction between dRofus client and dRofus Web.
