Revizto backs the Digital Construction Awards

Revizto is the first sponsor to support the Digital Construction Awards.

The cloud-based visual collaboration software specialist is sponsoring the Digital Construction Project of the Year – Major Project Award.

The Digital Construction Awards celebrate best practice and reward innovation in the application of BIM and digital technology in the built environment sector. The awards are run by Digital Construction Week (DCW), the Chartered Institute of Building, and media titles Construction Management and BIMplus.

Rhys Lewis, director EMEA at Revizto, said: “We are very pleased to be part of the Digital Construction Awards and look forward to celebrating and rewarding digital excellence within our industry.”

Construction Management editor Will Mann and DCW co-founder Ollie Hughes said: “It’s fantastic to welcome Revizto on board as our first sponsor. We’re delighted that Rhys and his team share our vision of making the Awards the Oscars of the sector.”

The Digital Construction Project of the Year – Major Project Award will celebrate what can be achieved through the successful implementation and adoption of digital technologies and processes on a project.

It is not about one specific issue or challenge, but about how a digital approach has enabled better outcomes for a project overall.

A major project is defined as one that is worth more than £10m in value.

The deadline for entries is 25 March.

There are another 12 categories that can be entered including Digital Excellence in a Construction Business, Digital Partnership and Digital Champion of the Year.

The shortlisted entrants will be revealed on 9 May, and the winners revealed at the awards ceremony on 12 July 2022 at The Brewery in London.
