Women in BIM Scotland launches first face-to-face event

Women in BIM Scotland has announced that its first face-to-face event will take place on 25 May.

The evening of “inspiring conversation around digitalisation, diversity and inclusion in the Scottish built environment” will take place from 4.30pm at the home of Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST) in Blantyre. BE-ST is the recently announced new name for the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre.

Speakers include:

  • Lynsey Brydson, head of digital programmes at BE-ST
  • Jeanette Macintyre, MD at Indeglås
  • Paul Dodd, senior associate director at Scottish Futures Trust
  • Louise Sykes, senior digital estate and asset management adviser at NHS Scotland
  • David Philp, director – digital consulting, strategy & innovation at Aecom

Panelists include:

  • Diane Ramage, BIM manager at Keppie Design
  • Dr Jennifer Macdonald, business analyst at PCSG
  • Kathryn Donald, digital design leader at Max Fordham

Following the speakers’ presentations, there will be a tour of the BE-ST innovation factory and then a drinks reception.
