Mace has appointed David Glennon as its new group head of digital engineering.
Glennon is responsible for driving forward the digital agenda at Mace and adopting new technology to boost value for the company’s clients.
He joins Mace from Red Sea Global where he was senior digital delivery director. Prior to that four-year stint, he spent nearly two years as head of digital at Arcadis, and before that two years as director of digital project delivery at Aecom. Earlier in his career he also worked for Mott MacDonald and Lendlease.
Glennon is also an ambassador for nima.
He said: “I am thrilled to be joining Mace at such a pivotal time in both the adoption of technology across the industry, and as the business matures into its business strategies.
“I believe my knowledge and experience of driving and embedding digital adoption across the sector will help this unique organisation grow as it continues to deliver world-class results for its clients across the globe.”
Mace chief technology officer Stephen Jeffery added: “David brings an abundance of knowledge and experience in the adoption and implementation of technological innovation, which will undoubtedly be of significant benefit to projects, clients and colleagues across the entire Mace group.”
