‘Mini MBA’ in digital innovation to launch in November

The University of Salford’s Business School is running a new “mini MBA” in Digital Innovation this November that aims to equip attendees with the necessary skills to survive and thrive in a rapidly changing business and construction sector.

The intensive four-day course will explore the challenges and opportunities presented by new digital technologies and is suited to those in construction and elsewhere who are keen to expand their digital skill set, while not taking much time away from the office. 

The programme will reveal how digital innovation is driving efficiencies and creating collaboration in all areas of an organisation, provide insight into the implications of the General Data Protection regulations and offer advice on resisting the constant threat of cyber-attacks.

The course will be held in Manchester and will be taught by the same lecturers who deliver Salford’s award-winning MBA programme.

Among the topics that will be covered are: digital marketing for the modern business; how consumer behaviour changes through analytics; cyber security; digital leadership; and putting a digital strategy into action.

Jonathan Palmer, programme manager for the University of Salford, said: “Digital innovation is no longer for the most daring of businesses. Those who fail to innovate and embrace digital will be left behind. Companies are looking at ways to keep up with the fast paced change in customer demands, new technologies and how to implement major change within their organisations.”
