Digital tools transform healthcare construction

McLaren Construction has drafted in former Sir Robert McAlpine and Laing O’Rourke digital head James Eaton, now director of digital transformation at Acumine, to develop the contractor’s digital and data strategy.
The Forge, on which Sir Robert McAlpine and Mace worked with client Landsec and designer Bryden Wood, was the clear winner of the Digital Construction Project of the Year category, sponsored by Revizto, at the Digital Construction Awards 2022.
The Forge office project is pioneering proof of a platform design for manufacture and assembly strategy. Its team secured the Digital Innovation in Offsite Construction category, sponsored by Construction Management, at the Digital Construction Awards last night (12 July).
